NOI Engineering Announces Energy
&
Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ) Monitoring Services
From whole building energy consumption and demand monitoring to ensuring Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ) by scrutinizing temperatures and relative humidity levels, NOI Engineering is pleased to provide real-time data collection, analysis, and monitoring of building systems, subsystems, and conditioned spaces.Monitoring energy and IEQ has become a primary mechanism to ensure compliance with green or sustainability initiatives, whether driven by tenant, management, or owners needs. Real time monitoring is also an important forensic energy aid to determine or isolate performance issues in HVAC subsystems or overall system scheduling. Selected sampling capabilities include:
· Energy – kilowatt-hour, kilowatt, kVAR, Power Factor, Amps, Volts,
TRMS Voltage & Amperage
· Temperature
· Relative Humidity
· CO2 Levels
· Light Intensity
· Pressure – Differential & Gauge
· Barometric Pressure
· DC Voltage or 4-20 mA
The uses are innumerable, but almost all possibilities are geared toward bottom-line performance concerns. Analysis can be conveyed in daily, weekly, or monthly reporting or may be viewed in real-time by logging into NOI Engineering’s website with personalized usernames and passwords provided for all approved parties. This feature allows access to all data by any computer from any location and at any time. Data can be displayed in a variety of graphical formats. E-mail alerts are also available. Further information about NOI Engineering can be found on their website at www.noi-engineering.com.
About NOI Engineering
NOI Engineering is primarily focused on adding value to our client’s “bottom-line”, whether economic, environmental, or social, and is substantially different than typical engineering firms providing traditional acquisition/due diligence services. Namely, NOI’s initiative has been tailored to assist building owners, managers, and lenders to understand the ramifications of “green” or “sustainable” building design or retrofit features (or the lack thereof). Particularly, NOI is able to leverage the property’s existing systems by profiling historic energy demands to optimize building operations and ultimately the property value at disposition. NOI’s team possesses a variety of professional accreditations including licensed Professional Engineers, Certified LEED Accredited Professionals, and Green Building Engineers, to name only a few. NOI Engineering has trademarked the term “Energy and Sustainability Due Diligence” in effort to entrench our interest in this pursuit but also distinguish our services from that of other firms. While we do offer and provide traditional services (such as Property Condition and Environmental Site Assessments) NOI Engineering is best viewed by our “bottom-line” approach to client needs, as our company name suggests.
